So, this thing at Cashman Field had banks, attorneys, and homeowners. They interviewed a women on the news, and she talked about how she has two mortgages, and no one could help her. She couldn't sell or refinance, and she couldn't qualify for a loan modification!
If there had been a Realtor booth for the more than 50% of those people who couldn't get help, maybe we could have told them "Yes you can sell your home" These folks just don't know what's out there for them. They are only getting half of the story!

There is about $190,000,000 (yeah, that's MILLION) available in Nevada right now for homeowners, and nobody knows about it. This blog has been set up for the purpose of answering questions and gathering resources for the folks in our state.
Nevada's Hardest Hit Funds is an organization helping home owners who want to stay in their homes, but what a lot of people don't realize is they also will help you transition into a rental situation, AND they have funds available to help you through the short-sale process if you realize you just can't stay in your home. they have funds available to give you in all any of those situations. It's an amazing program.
